Ok, firstly, if you are really honest about your feelings, no one is really happy for another unless what the other has done is useful to you. You can wax your eloquence with claims to contrary, but you know it is true. So stop this pretensions.
Ok, you want a constructive suggestion? Rat on everyone who is doing fake jobs, is a body-shopee, bought his GC etc. That should get rid of at least 20-30% (conservative numbers). How many will support it? I guess not many.
How about asking USCIS to make the priority date of the substituted applications to be the day 140 is filed? Any takers there? I guess not.
And then people have the gall to tell us to be happy for Eb2ers, and that we are jealous.
PS: I realize that substitution is no longer possible, I mean to ask USCIS to retroactively apply the priority dates for such cases.

A very dissproportionaely large number of EB3ROW and EB3I were adjudicated last June 2007, one ecould say at the expense of EB2-I. It is not unreasonable for EB2-I members to feel this way.

In my opinion this is ridiculous... it is clear how they don't want to share the information by comming up with this!
I think you should forward this to The President! show him how open his offices are about sharing information under the Freedom of Information Act - i dont see how is this different then pay-per view on cable!

I would love to attend the rally. However my financial condition at this time does not permit me. I could have booked a ticket on my credit card but all my cards are max out!
You want to know why I am in this financial deep hole? Well, I have two sons in college and paying out of state tuition, that is over $17,000 per semester for both of them.
My wife on H4 could not work until now that she has an EAD. It is retrogression that I should blame and I would love to do all in my power to obtain relief or bring the issue to the attention of the American public.
In my own way I have contributed to IV both in cash and in kind. I have told me story in countless media interviews. I only wish I could do more for IV financially but alas I am not able to do that at this time.

Why dont you be the president of IV? How many hours can you

I think a change of leadership of IV is critical if we have to get anywhere. IV has not been able to achieve a single thing in all of its existence. Not a single thing, nada, zitto, zapata. Not disclosing the issues they are working on, not disclosing how the funds are distributed, not disclosing the lobbyist they are using. Who in the world calls that leadership!
That is the reason that no one wants to contribute. First get some results, show people results for what they have paid for. Then ask for more money. Most people I talk to are confident that IV will achieve nothing given their track record. I tried to convince a colleague to join IV. He bet with me that they will not be able to achieve even this filing I-485 issue. He bet that he will join and pay if they did.
I know IV works like dIVorced wIVes club and saying anything negative is taboo. Anyone saying anything negative is crushed with (p)curses. Only good mushy things are allowed here. So here it is: We will get our GCs by the end of the month. Hallelujah!
But I am writing this for the benefit of IV and please take this as constructively as you can. As a member, I have full right to suggest a change of leadership when I think it can help.

This amendment follows through on the three-year-old promise made by Congress and the Department of Homeland Security to secure the border under previously passed legislation.
We must also address the illegal immigrants that are currently in our country. I will not support any proposal that provides amnesty or a path to citizenship for those that are currently here illegally. Additionally, I will continue to support programs like E-verify that provide employers with tools to verify whether or not current and prospective employees are legally allowed to work in the U.S. Since its inception in 1996, the E-Verify program has provided employers with a process to verify the work eligibility of new hires. E-Verify is free and more than 87,000 employers are enrolled in the program. According to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, more than 1,000 employers voluntarily sign up to use E-Verify each week.
On July 8, 2009, the Senate passed H.R. 2892, the "Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2010." Included in this bill was an amendment, offered by Senator Sessions, which removed the sunset date on the E-Verify program, and requires federal contractors to participate in the E-Verify program. Logiclife. I know why you are responding to these comments you all are frustrated with such comments. I know it is hard to not respond but please ignore these asinine comments. Please have some of these comments linked to the main page. But believe me "barking dogs seldom bite." Such people will ultimately sap your energy. But, just like how IV is asking people to contribute please also ask them to use their own judgment, they do this at their own risk. There are many people like us who have faith in your group although we know you cannot do miracles. Congratulations to all who can file for 485.
I am assuming , those who are eligible can file for 485 during the entire month of July , irrespective of next bulletin for August that will be released sometime between Jul 10th and 15th. (Can some one please confirm.)

We should do somehting instead of just waiting for the receipt. I emailed USCIS and NSC today. Please try to send emails to confirm that we can file 485 without i 140 receipt.
