    You have to return both I-94's while ticketing ie before exiting and while entering at POE IO will give you new I-94 based on AP as Paroled AOS pending..

    Ofcourse keep your copy of I-94 from your H1 Extension I-797 approval notice.

    If your 'temp stay' implies staying in a hotel and flying to Chicago on the weekend then no. If it means that you have leased an apartment and plan to stay in NY for a few months then sure go ahead and fill it out.

    This is what I would have done based on my interpretation of the requirements.

    Hello Senior Members,

    I have just started a thread to ask if there is any need to call our local senators for co-sponsoring S.3084 ( Barbara Boxer), which is identical bill in Senate for HR 6039.

    Is core working to get similar bills for HR.5882 and HR 5921 to get introduced in Senate?

    Agree with the cropping suggestion and also suggest you bring the highlights down some to bring out the detail in the barn roof and level out the barn. Just did a quick-and-dirty adjustment. You'll get better results from the original.

    My friend opted for consular processing and he is now thinking it was a bad idea. He is in EB2, and his PD is sometime in 06 (not sure of the month)
    Can he file for an AOS now?

    Dear Gurus,

    I have applied for my I-485 in July 2007. A false DV case was filed against me by my ex-wife in January 2008 which was dismissed with prejudice in the court. I have all certified copies from court.

    Now I got I-485 first interview letter from USCIS which is scheduled in Detroit.

    Can I attend by myself or do I need to attend with a lawyer?

    Could you guys advice me..

    I entered US on H4. Then applied for H1 for software job. worked for 2 months last yr and then went for maternity leave.
    Now I started working again and I still have to go for stamping.

    I have completed CPA and I would like to move to an accounting firm ( they have to file my H1 transfer with accounting domain).
    Is this going to cause any problem during H1 transfer or stamping??

    Please advise me...

    Interesting question. SOmeone recently asked me the same thing. She came to US on H4 and is having a h1b being done by a body shopper as a QA tester in IT, but she is actually a pharmacist and would like to get a H1b transfer if she finds a good pharmacy job.

    I am not sure how h1 transfers work in case it is different profession.

    I guess they should work fine because people can have multiple skills, some people gain skills over time like say, people do MS or MBA while on h1b, and then apply for a different kind of job and get a transfer.

    Gurus must be able to answer this question.

    Pl. advise what all documents do I need to send to USCIS for extending stay on visitor visa for my parents.From all the sources I read so far here is the list of documents that I feel that needs to included :

    1)I-539
    2)Letter to USCIS (from me the sponsor) explaining the reason for extending the stay.Please post any letter format that I can use.
    3)Copy of parents passport
    4)Copy of I-94
    5)Copy of original return ticket (with return date in 6 month from 1st entry)
    6)$300 fees

    Questions :

    Do I need to sent I-131
    Do I need to send bank statement and recenet paychecks
    Do I need to buy new ticket for extended date and send a copy?

    This is a last minute decision.I-94 expires in 3 weeks.PLease help .

    Yes, you can apply for H-4 despite the fact that she has an H1 petition approved. It is difficult for me to comment on her H-4 rejection chances as I am not familiar with your cases, but generally if you are on valid H-1 status then you should not have problems.

    Hi

    I have one question about the online AR-11 form.

    In the online AR 11 form there is one field called Port of entry and there is drop down box which has many items to select the port of entry. This drop down box has two items related to my port of entry.

    MA- BOSTON
    MA- LOGAN Airport

    Are these really two different airports?

    I entered US in the Boston Logan Airport (international airport). Which entry I need to select?

    MA-Boston
    OR
    MA- Logan Airport

    Since I am a canadian citizen, I do not require a visa for US and hence I don't have a H1B visa stamped on my passport.
    Since you know this point, I am sure the American Visa Officer working in various consulates, too, would know this. If not, send a copy of the law that says "Canadian citizens do not need Visa to enter US".

    This Skil bill in HR development looks very exciting....may be this will be the our savior bill. Now senate and house both has similar bills and based upon the trend, it looks there is not much resistance to this new bill.

    I hope with in few weeks we, the retrogression sufferers will be out of the dodge.

    Greetings,
    please advise what steps should be taken if I recieved the NL letter from KCC that I am selected for 2011 DV lottery.

    I am in AOS in EB3 category, my H1B already expired, working on EAD.

    My case number from DV lottery is very high (29***).
    What should I choose - CP or AOS???
    Should I fill and return back to KCC both forms - DSP-122 and DS-230 forms??? :confused:
