I am panning to file I 485 before July 31st. Also I am planning to go on vacation to India around Aug 10th. The trip to India is unavoidable.

Experts please answer the following question:

1) Both me and my wife are on H1 and it has to be stamped. Will I 485 Filing have any adverse impact on the H1 Stamping ?

2) Will leaving the country for vacation without the I 485 receipt have any impact on the I 485 process.

Hi
My Eb3 application is July 2002.
It was untouched until this month, where it is undergoing 'initial review'.
Considering they haven't looked at it in 8 years .. I'm happy :).

Any ideas on whether the Oct bulletin will see this move from Jan 2002 to a say Dec 2002?

Hi,

My husband and I work for a large MNC. We have our own L1's. Currently my husband's L1A is under processing. There is a RFE on it.

I want to know if we can change the status for him from L1 to L2 or to H1 without he having to leave the country?

If so what is the process to do it?

Can I apply for his L2 while his L1A is under processing?

Its not an issue. Make sure u fill all ur future applications like ssn, green card etc as per your passport. also ur birth certificate should be like ur passport details name date of birth and place of birth.

Good MOrning All I have 2 questions:

1.) My littel sister is living with a Looser for the past 10 teays and he refuse to file for her Residency. So got pregnat last year and now has a baby by him. Is there anything she can do to get her residency in this situation?


2.) I am married to a US citizen. I have a Pending case with USCIS however it has been draging out for too long. I wanted to file for my Residency using my Current marriage. She is a US citizen however dose anyone know if there is a limit or time frame when a US citizen can file for someone else? She was married before and filed for her X-husband residency. Can she file me now without any problem?

Dear Members,

Recently my husband had received an RFE on I-485 requesting information about his employment verification letter. He had sent all documents back to USCIS and today, I saw an update on my case. The message read that case processing resumed and there will be a decision or update made in 60 days.

Do you know what kind of decision they usually make? Is it normal to have such statements written up for a denial or approval?


Any words of comfort would help. My husband is the primary applicant.

I recently got a 3yr extension from my Company(6 yrs completed) since my Labor and I-140 is cleared, My question is can I transfer my H1 to another company, if yes how many yrs of extension I will get and what will be my GC status, can I transfer the priority date to the new company.

Hello,
Got H1B this year via consultant,valid from Oct 1st to 2010. Applied for AOS(dervative) and got EAD, AP and I-485 receipt notice by Oct end. So I think my status is AOS now.
I haven't been put on project yet.
Planning to travel next month using AP.
On return I plan to find another job using EAD.

I wanted to know if and how using AP to re-enter effects H1B status.
Also will this "bench" period effect GC processing in anyway?

Also i would appreciate if gurus could suggest what documents to carry to show at POE, along with AP.
