I meant Papu..We have not yet heard from IV Core..I know funds may be an issue to do hard lobbying..can we use soft campigning like letter and Fax campign to turn attention to the legal issue..I thought it was time to pick up momentum now..

Hi,
Can I travel on a valid / approved AP when my H1 Extension is in progress. This is my
situation:
Valid AP in Hand valid till next year.
H1B expiring 6/20/2011
H1B extension applied on 4/7/11 have rcpt notice.
My questions are this:
1.) When I enter US back in with my AP in Jul 11, will that impact my H1B extension in any way.
2.) Without any EAD will I be Jeapordizing my AOS in any way.
I will be continuing to work with the same employer who is the sponsor of my current
I485.
Request your thoughts and inputs on this situation. Appreciate any replies/advices you may have.

Hi,
I got an LUD on my I140 on 07/28/07. There is no message change though. This I-140 was approved way back in Aug 2006. I have filed my I-485 etc on June 1st 07, and its in process. Does anyone know what doesn this LUD mean.

I've got some questions/comment to understand your situation
1. How do you know it is stuck in security check? What is your attorney's suggestion
For regular EB applications you can apply for 485 when priority date is current
2. EAD is generally adjudicated within 90 days
3. She should have a visa of her own - if she cannot be your dependant

Hi,
I am planning to travel to Indian in coming months. However, I have a stright outright dismissed CMIT case back in 2007. I got the non convincted case expunged. I got FBI finger print results and they say no records were found. I got BCI from state which states no records were found. Last time , I travelled abroad was in 2006. I have a valid AP.
Do you see any risk of re entrying US on AP?.
Your help is much appreciated as I have to have to be there in India.

My EB3 I140 got approved in June2008. I am planning to convert EB3 to EB2 and preparing to apply labor through EB2. If EB2 labor got denied, is my EB3 I140 still valid? Do i get a RFE if apply for I485 using EB3 I140? Any Lawyers please..

Can students with post completion EAD work for more than one employer at the same time in their own speciality area? I mean to ask, can they work full time with one and part time with other?

My case was filed on july 2 and got rejected due to incorrect fees. I was told, it was mail room error and was refiled on Sep 12th. I was under the impression that all the rejected cases have receipts numbers and the cases are entered in USCIS database.
I called USCIS and my case information is not in database yet. My attorney told me that they only have a reference number for inquiry(yet to explain why no receipt number instead).
Have you guys seen this happening in other cases?

Yes for extensions - Auto revalidation only from contiguous countries - Canada, Mexico and some islands.
There are several other requirements - take some effort and google it !

Depends on the validity of the VISA. For example, if a person has 10 year multi entry (M) VISA, that person can enter whenever he/she wants.
For limited time frame, say 6 months validity, there should be a validity on the VISA itself, person needs to enter in that particular time frame.

No, it does not mean that it is approved.
A number is just File number for Alien, for USCIS record keeping/tracking purpose.

I heard very good things about Martina Keller of Chicago. I spoke to her once regarding an immigration question and she answered with patience. When I asked about the charge - she said "thats fine.. its just one question". I was impressed.
